Our specialist team will produce a rehabilitation program catered to your needs after a comprehensive assessment by our team of rehabilitation professionals. Services provided include:
Our cardiac outpatient program is designed for people who have had an acute heart event.
Based on the National Heart Foundation guidelines our program helps you a lead healthier, more active life.
Chronic pain management
Through multidisciplinary rehabilitation, our Pain Wise program equips chronic pain sufferers with effective and constructive strategies to help manage their condition in the long term.
Falls and balance
Our evidence-based falls prevention program targets those most at risk in our community. You don’t need to have experienced a fall to take part in a falls prevention program - you may only be experiencing some balance problems and are at risk of sustaining a fall.
Our outpatient oncology rehabilitation program was created for people who may be experiencing side effects such as fatigue, anxiety, pain or general deconditioning following diagnosis or treatment for cancer.
Our pulmonary rehabilitation program for outpatients is conducted by a multidisciplinary team of health professionals. Our program helps patients with chronic lung conditions such as emphysema, bronchiectasis, chronic asthma or pulmonary fibrosis. It aims to improve exercise tolerance, activity levels and functioning, individual health management and overall quality of life.
Parkinson’s disease is a neurological disorder which affects the motor nervous system and alters coordination and movement.
We offer comprehensive, evidence-based inpatient and outpatient programs including:
Parkinson’s LSVT LOUD®
This program has more than 20 years’ research behind it and is the first speech treatment with scientific evidence for the treatment of voice and speech disorders for individuals with Parkinson’s disease.
Parkinson’s LSVT BIG®
This program is an intensive amplitude-based exercise program for the body. Research has documented improved ratings on tests of motor functioning in people with Parkinson’s disease following treatment. Improvements include faster walking with bigger steps, improved balance and increased trunk flexibility.
Group Parkinson’s program
Our multidisciplinary team of expert clinicians work with the group and focus on balance, strength, endurance and coordination training.
