Visitors are welcome at Hawkesbury District Health Service.

Visitors are invited to spend time in patients' rooms. Alternatively a range of spaces are available throughout the facility for visitors to enjoy including courtyards, gardens, dining room and cafe.
Please consider the well-being of our patients and caregivers when visiting the hospital and delay your visit if you are unwell.
The Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The main hospital is open for visiting hours strictly from 9.00am to 6.00pm daily (rest period in maternity 12.00pm to 3.00pm).
After hours access is via the Emergency Department.
Two visitors may be permitted per patient, per day at Hawkesbury District Health Service in the general and maternity wards.
Please be aware of current visitor restrictions.
Getting here and parking
We have free onsite parking located close to the main hospital and Community Health Centre. Windsor Railway Station is a 10 minute walk away and a bus stop is located on the corner of Day and Macquarie Street. For more information, visit our getting here and parking page.
Hawkesbury District Health Service is a smoke free hospital. Our buildings and grounds are smoke free to create a healthier, cleaner and safer environment for patients, visitors and caregivers. Smoking is not permitted in any building, outdoor area or vehicle within our boundaries.
Our main reception is located on the ground floor near the main hospital entrance.
Telehealth offers the ability to access care from the home, work or other private space without the need for a face-to-face appointment.
St John of God Health Care uses both phone and video call to connect you to your healthcare providers.
